Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Maverick Brands ("Maverick", "we", "us") collects when you visit maverickbrands.ai or apply to work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you apply, we collect your name, company, email, and anything else you choose to share: phone, website, raise target, funding platform, stage and your message.
- How you found us. The page you landed on, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source or gclid).
- Site usage. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and campaigns are useful. It uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It does not tell us who you are.
- Advertising measurement. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to count which LinkedIn ads lead to a brief or a sign-up and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn sees this through its own cookies; we only see totals, never who you are.
- LinkedIn lead forms. If you ask for a brief through a LinkedIn lead form, LinkedIn shares the details on that form with us (such as your name, email, company, title and your answers), and we use them exactly as if you had applied on this site.
How we use it
- To review your application and contact you about it.
- To provide and improve our services and this site.
- To measure which marketing reaches founders, including through Google Ads, LinkedIn and similar platforms.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run parts of our business on our behalf, such as website hosting (Vercel), analytics and advertising (Google and LinkedIn), email delivery and our client platform, Maverick Signal. They may use the information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or as part of a merger or sale of our business.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and LinkedIn ad personalization in your LinkedIn advertising settings. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are not tracked with analytics or advertising cookies.
Keeping and protecting information
We keep application information for as long as we need it to evaluate and serve you, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing team@maverickbrands.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above.
